By accessing or using GangOwl ("the Service"), operated by GangOwl / Take-Owl ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GangOwl is a web-based gang sheet builder tool that allows users to arrange and layout designs for printing. The Service is available in two versions:

• Web version (gangowl.com): A free tool supported by advertisements served through Google AdSense.
• Desktop version: A standalone application available as a one-time purchase through Gumroad. The desktop version is a separate product governed by its own license terms provided at the time of purchase.

3. Client-Side Processing

All image processing and design work performed through GangOwl happens entirely within your web browser. No images, designs, or project files are uploaded to or stored on any external server. Your work remains on your device at all times.

4. Intellectual Property and User Content

You retain full ownership of all images, designs, and content you create or upload while using the Service. GangOwl does not claim any rights over your content. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content you use does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create, process, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any other harmful software.
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

6. Advertisements

The free web version of GangOwl is supported by advertisements served through Google AdSense. By using the web version, you acknowledge that advertisements will be displayed during your use of the Service. You agree not to use ad-blocking tools in a manner that circumvents the advertising that supports the free Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any results obtained through the Service.

You use the Service at your own risk. We do not guarantee that the output generated by the tool will meet specific printing requirements or quality standards.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GangOwl / Take-Owl and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or zero dollars ($0) if you have used only the free web version.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GangOwl / Take-Owl from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
